动物胶 animal glue and gelatin 以动物的皮、骨或筋等为原料,将其中所含的胶原经过部分水解、萃取和干燥制成的蛋白质固形物。色泽淡黄至棕色。能溶于水,微溶于酒精,不溶于有机溶剂。其水溶液具有表面活性,粘度较高,冷却后冻结成富有弹性的凝胶,受热后又可恢复溶液状态。主要用作工业的粘接剂、乳化剂和乳化稳定剂,选矿时的絮凝剂,造纸和纺织工业中的施胶剂,以及用于印刷工业中制版和制造墨辊等,在食品、照相材料、医药品和化妆品等生产领域也有广泛的用途。现代开发的微胶囊技术是动物胶的新的应用领域。由于动物胶所用原料都是废弃物,因此动物胶的生产是一种化废为宝的工业。动物胶按原料分为骨胶和皮胶两大类;按产品精制程度分为粗制品(如骨胶、皮胶)和精制品(如明胶);按产品不同分为明胶和工业胶两类。其中明胶为主要产品。动物胶生产工艺主要有原料预处理、萃取和成品制造3部分。 |
