[承兑汇票l汇票付款人承诺于到期日支付汇票票面金额，并注明“承兑”字样的汇票。承兑汇票因承兑人不同分为商业承兑汇票和银行承兑汇票两种。前者是经工商企业签章承兑，承诺到期付款的汇票;后者是经银行签章承兑，承诺到期付款的汇票。承兑的作用之一是使汇票上的权利义务关系确定下来，因而承兑汇票的持有人就可以通过背书把其转让他人，或到自己的开户银行申请贴现。
