This article inquires into the cause of the formation of the Image of the willow during the Six Dynasties from five angles:the Book of Songs,folk custom,homonym,the widespread planting of willow and the unique expression of willow,and examines the image of willow in this period from the following aspects:departing and leaving,lovesickness,homesickness,time consciousness etc.
