跟单托收出口方将跟单汇票(附有货运单据的汇票)或不出具汇票的货运单据，委托银行办理跟单托收。跟单托收根据买卖双方商定的条件，交单方式可分为付款交单和承兑交单两种:①付款交单。付款交单的英文缩写是D/P，它是指出口方委托银行凭跟单汇票收取货款，被委托的代收银行必须在进口商付清票款之后，才能将货运单据交给进口商的交单方式。付款交单多指即期付款交单，即单据寄到进口地的代收银行，由代收银行提示给进口商立即付款赎单，这样票款和物权单据即可两清。还有一种远期付款交单，指进口商立即承兑汇票，于到期日付款赎单。②承兑交单。承兑交单的英文缩写是D/A，它是指被委托的代收银行于付款人承兑汇票之后，将货运单据交给付款人，付款人在汇票到期时履行付款义务的一种托收方式。承兑交单只适用于远期汇票的托收。
