释僧云。不知何人也。辩聪词令备明大小。崇附斋讲恒以常住。齐邺盛昌三宝。云著名焉。住宝明寺襟带众理。以四月十五日临说戒时。众并集堂。云居上首乃白众曰。戒本防非。人人诵得。何劳烦众数数闻之。可令一僧竖义令后生开悟。云气格当时无敢抗者。咸从之。讫于夏末常废说戒至七月十五日旦。将升草坐。失云所在。大众以新岁未受交废自恣。一时崩腾四出追觅。乃于寺侧三里许。于古冢内得之。遍体血流如刀割处。借问其故。云有一丈夫。执三尺大刀厉色嗔云。改变布萨妄充竖义。刀脍身形痛毒难忍。因接还寺竭情忏悔。乃经十载说戒布萨。读诵众经以为常业。临终之日。异香迎之神色无乱。欣然而卒。时感嘉其即世惩革不坠彝伦云。
