By exploring the connotation of the semantic analyses in Er’ya（尔雅）, this study, according to their properties, classifies the semantic analyses into the interpretation of the semantic clusters, the semantic items and the semantic items, and shows the distribution of these categories in the book, thus carries a deepgoing research into the semantic analyses in Er’ya（尔雅）.
