铜岭商周铜矿遗址位于瑞昌市北部，经澳大利亚国立大学、北京大学对椹木进行测定，矿山始采于商代，终采于战国早期，据今约3300年。铜岭商周铜矿遗址为中国最早的一座铜矿山，被评为1991年中国考古十大发现之一。古铜矿巷井至今保存完好，能向世界展示中国的青铜文明。
