A suspension with good rheology and suitable for centrifugal casting was prepared from two Al2O3 powders with different particle sizes by choosing the appropriate process.

Concerning the slurry for centrifugal casting of high\|density and high\|strength Al 2O 3 ceramics, the paper discusses the effect of its dispersent agent, pH value and solid content of the viscosity of the slurry.

With a slurry of Al2O3 powders and N-Methyloacrylamide-based polymerization system,pore-gradient alumina tubes of diameters 12,18 and 30 mm were fabricated in one pot by centrifugal casting combined with gelcasting method.
