桑林
性社会学名。是中国语言中表示淫 秽之所的隐语。古代以桑林作为社木，桑林又是男女野合的场所。传说大禹就曾与涂山女交媾于桑林之中。《天问》曾就此发问说：“禹之力献功，降省下土方。焉得彼涂山女，而通之于台桑?”台桑即桑台，亦即桑林。古风俗允许男女私通的场所。
