清镇市新店镇马鞍村生产的“马鞍面条”，是一方“叫得响”的特产。“马鞍面条”色泽好，不粘汤，煮的面条即使放到第二天，也不会粘稠。由于马鞍面条具有较好的品质和口感，很快就赢得了人们的青睐。以致市场常常脱销。面对这一看好的发展势头，村民们纷纷买来搅拌机、压面机、电动机等擀面设备，开起了自己的面条作坊。
而今，全村擀面的人家已达20多家，平均每户每天可生产300多斤，但仍然供不应求。不少来自贵阳、清镇的商贩，一待面条“出笼”就抢购一空。一些专程来购买面条的人，往往要提前联系才能买到。
“马鞍面条”之所以有较好的声誉，除了做工精细等原因外，当地甘冽的泉水，是造就这一品牌的重要因素。
一方特产，带动了一方经济的发展。而今，马鞍村已实现通闭路电视、电话和自来水，是一个名符其实的“小康村”。
