   伽利略的天文学著作。1632年在意大利出版。该书用3位主人公萨尔维尔蒂、沙格列陀和辛普利邱进行4天对话的形式写成。前2人分别代表伽利略的化身和朋友,第3人则代表托勒密体系的支持者。这4天对话中,除第4天(讨论潮汐问题)的基本观点有错外,前3天的主要论点都为后来科学的发展所证明。该书全面而系统地讨论了哥白尼日心体系和托勒密地心体系的各种分歧,并用作者的许多新发现和力学研究新成果论证了哥白尼体系的正确和托勒密体系的谬误。罗马教皇和教会对此十分恼怒,将此书列为禁书,并对伽利略进行审讯和迫害。该书中译本于1974年出版。
