宋林村，原名宋祯焕，吉林延吉人。中共党员。1960年毕业于辽宁大学历史系。历任吉林省社会科学研究所朝鲜研究室、社会科学院朝鲜研究所副研究员。吉林省第六届政协常委，中国少数民族作家学会理事。1956年开始发表作品。1991年加入中国作家协会。
