As an important part of WTO agricultural regulations, WTO agricultural internal supporting regulations will definitely impact upon Chinese agriculture after China s entry into WTO.

An Agriculture Domestic Support Law should be made in accordance with the rules of Agriculture Agreement 1994 and the practical situation in Chinese agriculture so that the international competitiveness of China s agricultural products will be increased.

Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy, with strong exterior nature,multifunction and frangibility , therefore, agricultural domestic support policies were introduced to most countries.

China agricultural domestic support policies, however, were still on the low level as a whole due to the financial constraints, and there were some problems such as irrational support structure of green box policies and low subsidy efficiency of amber box policies.
