[二、小化身丈六],小化身丈六者,谓如来为应二乘、凡夫之人,说于四谛等法,令其舍妄归真,而得开悟,故化现丈六之身也。(二乘者,声闻乘、缘觉乘也。四谛者,苦谛、集谛、灭谛、道谛也。)
[三、随类不定],随类不定者,谓如来誓愿弘深,慈悲普覆,随诸种类,有感即应,或现大身满虚空中,或现小身丈六、八尺等也。
