From viewing the present situation that university students are short of physical education health consciousness and have poor ability of medical supervision, the author raised the thought of opening physical education health teaching so that teachers and students can improve the ability of medical self-supervision,and it also can make the students take scientific exercises.

In view of this situation,this article puts forwards that it is necessary for normal colleges to reform the teaching methods of health science in exercise.

With the advance of society and physical education, health science in exercise , the compulsory course of the undergraduates in the institute of physical education, seems to be slightly out-of-date in the systematization of knowledge and its content.
