信托投资【信托投资】信托投资，作为一个概念，通常又有不同的理解。在西方，信托投资的说法，较少见，是泛指信托方式的投资;而投资信托则较为常见，是特指投资人通过信托方式，共同购买各种有价证券，是一种特殊的证券投资信托，也有人称之为投资基金，在日本直接称为证券投资信托。在中国，信托投资是一个十分普通的概念，但也有广义与狭义之分，而且都不同于西方的投资信托概念。广义而言，中国的“信托投资”是指投资者(包括各级财政部门、各系统的企业主管部门、社会公共团体—科研机构、学会、基金会等)用拨款或存款方式(包括委托存款与信托存款)将资金拨人或存人信托机构，签订信托契约，委托其按契约规定的“指定投资项目”、“任意投资项目”进行投资的一种业务。中国的“信托投资”还包含国外厂商通过信托机构的中介作用与国内厂商经办合营企业的投资，信托机构用自有的信托基金或发行债券筹集的资金进行投资等，也属“信托投资”业务范围。中国信托机构经营的主要是直接投资业务。狭义而言，·“信托投资”是与“委托投资”相对的一个概念，信托投资是任意性的信托投资，而委托投资则是指定性的信托投资。 鉴于信托投资概念的丰富内涵，下面在介绍信托投资业务时，以兼顾中国和西方两种通用的做法为原则。
