Through exploring its relations to the connotation of hua,it is argued that QIAN Zhong-shu s translation ideal "Hua Jing(perfection)" must have been inspired by the Chinese traditional idea Tao and then reinterprets the feeling of reading a perfect translation as well as the translation skills required to realize the ideal.
