| 东条英机（1884～1948） Tōjō Hideki 日本首相(1941～1944)，法西斯首要战犯，陆军大将。1884年12月30日生于东京。陆军中将东条英教之子。1905年在陆军士官学校毕业，1915年于陆军大学毕业。后成为军部法西斯派别统制派重要成员，热衷于对外侵略。1935年出任关东军宪兵队司令官 ， 积极参与镇压中国东北抗日军民 。1937年任关东军参谋长。七七事变后，率领关东军入侵承德、张家口和大同等地。1938 年任陆军次官，同年末任航空总监兼航空本部长。1940～1941年任陆军大臣，积极扩大侵华战争，极力主张对美英开战。1941年10月，继近卫文麿任内阁总理大臣，兼任陆军大臣、内务大臣和军需大臣，晋升大将。同年12月发动太平洋战争，把侵略战争扩大到太平洋和东南亚地区。后曾兼任外务大臣、文部大臣、商工大臣和参谋总长，实行法西斯军人独裁。1944 年7月在日本败局已定和国内矛盾激化的形势下，被迫辞职。日本投降后，1945 年9月作为战犯被捕，企图自杀未遂。1948年11月被远东国际军事法庭列为甲级战犯，判处绞刑，同年12月23日执行。
