With the further development of Chinese socialist market economy,the names of colleges and universities have become important marks in many fields and thus school names have demonstrated a more apparent quality of trademarks.

This paper,by discussing the translation of important terms of high vocational colleges of water conservancy in our country and language structure which should be used in the translation of school names,tries to find the united paradigm of English translation.
