苏裱 我国裱画的主要派别之一。流行于以苏州为中心的江南地区。苏裱继承了宋代裱背的优良传统,至明代,加以文征明父子、都元敬、王弇洲等的精妙心得,使苏裱更见完善。嘉靖、万历年间为盛期,有“吴装最善,他处无及”的佳评(见明代胡应麟《少室山房笔丛》)。以后更是名家辈出,技艺益精。苏裱一般较素静淡雅,挺拔柔软,选料优良,装制熨贴、整旧得法、形式多样、裱工精佳。并讲求防霉、防蠹。历代苏裱妙手,有一套修复古旧书画的特殊技艺,一幅书画,即使支离破碎,折皱残缺,一经装裱,可起死回生,竟成完璧。因此苏裱有“书画郎中”的赞誉。解放后,苏裱在保护古代文物,发展书画艺术,促进文化交流,扩大工艺美术出口方面,都作出了贡献。
