国际会计准则第15号—准则认为，在多数国家，反映价格变动影响的资料企业的财务报表是在厉史成本基础上编制的，没有考虑一般物价水平的变动，也未考虑个别物价水平的变动。即使对物价变动有所考虑，也只是局限在固定资产重估价上，将存货和其他流动资产调整到可变现净值。为了使财务报表使用者了解物价变动对企业财务状况和经营成果影响的有用会计信息，有必要提供关于价格变动影响的资料。本准则规定，收入、利润、资产数额较大且职工少、数比较多的企业，应当采用某种反映价格变动的会计处理方法，提供反映价格变动的财务资料。 反映物价变动的会计处理方法有两种:①一般购买方法，郡按一般物价变动水平来修订财务报表中某些项目或者全部项目数据。②现行成本法，即以现行成本代替历史成本来确认个别资产的价格变动。 企业应提供反映价格变动的资料有:①按照价格变动对固定资产折旧进行调整的数额或已经调整的数额。②按照价格变动对本期销售成本调整的数额或已经调整的数额。③按照所采用的会计方法确定收益时，对货币性项目和股东权益进行调整的数额④固定资产折旧的调整、销售成本的调整和对货币性项目以及其他项目按照价格变动所进行的调整对企业经营成果影响的资料 提供反映价格的资料时，应说明上述资料的计算方法，包括所采用的物价指数。
