定义：
又称junior share，common share，equity share，ordinary share或ordinary stock。指股份有限公司(company limited by shares)只发行一种股票时，股东能享有各种基本权利者，普通股股东时公司经营利益的最后享受者，也时经营风险的最后承担者。公司股东多享有选举董监事，决定重大议案，收取股利，优先认股(preemption)和剩余财产分配等权利，如果发行了两种以上的股票，有些股票在某些权利上优于另一种股票，或受某种的限制，但必定有一种股票没有优先权也没有限制基本权利。这种股票是普通股。
