等成本方程：厂商使用生产要素需要支付费用，它是厂商实现利润最大化目标需要考虑的另一个约束。以rL和rK分别表示劳动和资本的价格，以C表现厂商的成本，厂商的成本可以表示为：C=rLL+rKK.如果成本既定，那么上式给出了厂商花费相同成本可以使用的所有不同的要素组合，故它也被称为厂商的等成本方程。
