恙螨科 Trombiculidae;chigger mites 蜱螨亚纲真螨目恙螨总科的一科。通称恙螨,又称恙虫。世界已知约3000个种和亚种。中国已知约400种。世界性分布,以温暖潮湿的东南亚地区和热带雨林中为主。中国东南沿海至西南边境省区最多。幼虫体椭圆形或卵圆形,红、橙、土黄或乳白色。体长大小0.2~0.5毫米,饱食后可达0.5~1毫米。生活史分卵、前幼虫、幼虫、若蛹、若虫、成蛹和成虫7期。幼虫期要爬到宿主体上取食,其他各期都在地面浅表土中营自由生活,少数种类在动物的巢穴中孳生。幼虫侵袭哺乳类、鸟类、爬行类和两栖类动物,有些种类侵袭人体,并能传播疾病。 |
