There are plenty of evaluation thoughts in Feng Qi’s works: introducing the evaluation cagetory in epistemology; uncovering the internal relationship between the subject and object during the evaluation activities; analyzing the significance of concept of evaluation, uncovering the effect of evaluation in promoting self consciousness.

The paper holds that the former is used in narration and the latter in exposition or argumentation;the former is used to present the external phenomena in a causal context and the latter is used to present the internal relations.

The author makes a full analysis to the inner relations between commodity economy and democratic politics by pointing out that democratic politics is a politics of equality, competition, opening, independence and legal ruling, whose sources are the connotation of the five basic characteristics of commodity economy.
