| 《中国的红色政权为什么能够存在？》 1928年10月5日，毛泽东为中共湘赣边界第二次代表大会起草的《政治问题和边界党的任务》决议的一部分。文章初步回答了中国革命的具体道路问题。收入《毛泽东选集》第一卷。文章总结了湘赣边界斗争的经验，并针对党内存在的右的和“左”的思想倾向，科学地论证了红军和红色政权在中国存在和发展的5个条件：①中国是一个政治经济发展极不平衡的半殖民地半封建的大国 ，反革命营垒内部不统一并充满矛盾，因而使许多农村小块革命根据地能够在反革命政权的包围下产生、坚持和波浪式地向前扩大。②经过第一次大革命影响和锻炼的工农兵士，为建立革命军队和红色政权准备了良好的群众基础。③中国革命形势是跟着国内买办豪绅阶级和国际资产阶级的继续的分裂和战争，而继续地向前发展的。这就为小块红色区域的长期存在和发展，提供了客观依据。④相当力量的正式红军的存在，是红色政权存在的必要条件。⑤共产党组织的有力量及其政策的正确，是红色政权长期存在和发展的关键条件。毛泽东关于红色政权能够存在和发展的理论，指明了在反动统治薄弱的农村积聚力量，实行工农武装割据，以农村包围城市，最后夺取城市取得全国政权的道路。这是毛泽东思想开始形成的一个标志，是马克思主义中国化的里程碑。 |
