对固始鸡快、慢羽纯系进行研究 ,结果表明 :羽速基因对固始鸡受精率无显著影响 ,对入孵蛋孵化率有显著影响 (P <0 0 5 ) ,快羽系入孵蛋孵化率高于慢羽系 4 6 6 %;固始鸡快羽系的开产日龄较慢羽系迟 2 4 4d ,开产蛋重慢羽系较快羽系重 0 2 9g ,开产体重快羽系较慢羽系重8 7g ,但均未达到显著性差异 ;羽速基因对固始鸡 4 0周龄蛋重有极显著影响 (P <0 0 1) ,慢羽系 4 0周龄蛋重极显著地高于快羽系 ,对 4 0周龄蛋量和 4 0周龄体重无显著影响 ;羽速基因对固始鸡各阶段的死亡率无显著影响。

试验选用1日龄健康雏鸡,根据羽毛生长速度进行快慢羽分群饲养,研究羽速基因对莱芜黑鸡早期生长速度和蛋用性能的影响,结果表明,羽速基因对早期生长速度有一定的影响,初生重、2、4、7、10周末快羽系鸡体重显著高于慢羽,但对蛋用性能方面影响差异不显著。
