是由政府批准成立，妇联直接领导，纳入北京市教委管理的中等专业学校。
1993年10月落成，位于朝阳区团结湖小区，与朝阳体育馆相邻，环境较幽静，地理位置好，交通较方便。学校占地面积1200平方米，建筑面积1800平方米，内有大、小教室、图书室、食堂、浴室及部分学生宿舍等设施供学生使用。
