Based on the theory of elaboration, this project makes a survey of, by means of experiment, the different effects of English vocabulary teaching and learning by adopting different ways of presentation.

Declarative knowledge is stored in propositional network, and elaboration, as a knowledge organizing structure, is the source of misguided inference.
