本文依据南阳杨官寺汉画像石墓的形制、随葬器物的类型、石刻画像利用率的高低以及画像内容题材及雕刻技法等几个方面,与本地区其他画像石墓与画像石纪年墓进行比较分析,判定杨官寺画像石墓的年代应提早至西汉中期偏晚阶段。
