This paper expounds the opportunities and challenges brought about by the population aging to our country s older human resource development,discusses especially on the influence of the re-employment of the older people on the employment of the young and middle-aged people,and advances some suggestions on older human resource development in our country.

老年智力(intelligenee in old age)智力是否随年龄而下降，存在不同看法。横断研究者发现人们在20岁以前，智力直线上升，20岁以后智力即缓慢下降，50一60岁时智力则明显衰退。所以认为智力随年龄增长而显著衰退。纵向研究结果表明，20岁以后智力并未下降，若为健康老人，60岁以后，即使到70一80岁高龄，智力下降也是很小的。采用韦氏成人智力量表测验，老年人的语文分数明显高于作业分，并不随年龄增长而有明显变化。受时间限制、与速度有关的动作性智力测验，成绩容易低落。据此认为液化智力是以生物学为基础的，在老年有所下降，晶化智力有赖于有机体与环境的相互作用，代表着智力中的经验因素，在老年仍被保持。 (王艾利撰牟文博审)
