| 《人性论》 A Treatise of Human Nature 休谟的哲学著作。写于1732～1736年，全书3卷，1739年后分卷出版。作者试图把实验推理的方法推广应用于精神哲学，剖析人性中的理智和情感，建立一个新的科学体系 。第一卷阐述认识论，提出了他的不可知论和唯心主义学说 。第二卷以感觉性观点说明伦理学和美学问题，认为快乐的感觉是善和美的共同基础。第三卷论述快乐论、功利论的伦理学原理以及人性论、契约论的政治学原理。他提出支配人的生活的是意志、情感（或激情）而非理性，道德和政治的基础是“自利心”，以及同“自利心 ”相辅相成的“同情感”。出版后，由于公众反应冷淡 ，休谟对全书作了改写、修订。 |
