The paper argues that it occurs most frequently in predicative-object verbs;from the viewpoint of collocation rule this phenomenon is mostly caused by the fact that quasi-dual verbs take preposition-introduced compulsory elements as object or that a small number of mono-two-place verbs take preposition-introduced optional elements with the position changed as object.
