梁启超旧居

位于东城区北沟沿胡同23号，是梁启超在京时的住所。梁启超（1873—1929），广东新会人，中国近代资产阶级改良主义者、近代资产阶级政治家、学者。1895年跟随康有为发动“公车上书”。1898年参与百日维新，主张变法，并介绍西方资产阶级社会政治、经济学说，对当时知识界影响较大。曾出任袁世凯政府司法总长，1915年策动护国军反袁，后出任段祺瑞执政府的财政总长。早年所作政论文，颇具特色，晚年在清华学校讲学，著有《饮冰室合集》。1986年，梁启超故居被列为东城区文物保护单位。
