This thesis mainly concentrates on the orientations of the spin vectors (SVs) with different samples of the field galaxies in the Local Supercluster (LSC) and of the galaxies in the Virgo Cluster, with the context of the origin and formation of galaxies and clusters.

| 本超星系团 local supercluster 本星系群所在的超星系团。20世纪50年代，G.de沃库勒分析了视星等亮于13等的1000多个星系的分布，发现这些星系集中在几条带上 。由此，他认为，绝大部分的较亮的星系属于一个很大的扁平状集团 ，称为本超星系团。沃库勒的看法为以后的研究所证实。本超星系团由本星系群、室女星系团、后发星系团及一些较小的星系群和团组成。其长径在30百万秒差距以上，厚约 2 百万秒差距，质量中心在室女星系团附近。银河系的位置较接近本超星系团的边缘，离质量中心约10～12百万秒差距。 |
