| 抽象主义 Abstractism 20世纪兴起于欧美各国的一种美术思潮和流派。它的产生与社会现实以及工业、科学技术的发展有直接关系，同时又受到原始艺术、中世纪宗教艺术、东方艺术以及现代哲学和心理学等多种因素的影响。反映在创作中，则可归纳为两大特征：①抑制对空间的表现，以平面表现为主；②抑制具象的物体，以结晶质的几何线形式为主。在此基础上又构成两个基本原型：①强调主观因素是为感性的抽象，如德国的青骑士、美国的抽象表现主义等；②注重客观因素是为理智的抽象，如荷兰的风格派、俄国的至上主义等。抽象主义艺术家以艺术形式的探索为主，是对写实艺术的补充，但也有些作品表现出逃避现实、社会虚无主义的倾向，而大量的作品则通过高度凝炼的点、线、面、色诉诸人们的感官，给人以深刻的感染。
