Judging by the poets by Gu Kuang and some scriptures of the Tang Dynasty, Gu Kuang served mainly as "Supervisor of Salt" in Wen Zhou and Taizhou; Gu Kuang usually stopped over Yuezhou (now called Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province), the center of the East Area of Zhejiang, when he visited Wuzhou and Quzhou .
就顾况所传诗文及唐朝历史典籍来看,顾况在韩滉手下任职主要是做“盐监”;任职之地方主要是在温州和台州;越州(今浙江绍兴)是浙东中心,顾况在温台任职与往来均尝经留于此。
