苏联作曲家、合唱指挥家、音乐教育家。1883年 4月13日生于梁赞省普拉希诺村。1946年7月8日卒于柏林。9～12岁在圣彼得堡宫廷合唱团的合唱指挥班学习。1900年入圣彼得堡音乐学院，随А.К.格拉祖诺夫及А.К.利亚多夫学作曲。1902年因家庭经济拮据而辍学，在波罗戈叶、特维尔等地任合唱指挥。1909年入莫斯科音乐学院，1913年毕业于C.H.瓦西连科作曲班，1916年毕业于Y.玛杰蒂的声乐班。1916年在特维尔(今加里宁城)创办音乐中学。1918年被邀至莫斯科音乐学院教和声、作品分析等课。1928年苏军红旗歌舞团成立，亚历山德罗夫任领导人。他在学生时期写过交响诗《生与死》(1911)、独幕歌剧《水仙女》（1913）等。以后主要从事歌曲创作。他的歌曲兼有俄罗斯古典合唱曲、农民歌曲和革命歌曲的特点。他于1941年写作的《神圣的战争》,成为卫国战争时期的歌曲代表作之一。1913年,他以C.米哈尔科夫和艾尔－列基斯坦的词谱写了《苏联国歌》(1944～1977)。他写有大量的部队歌曲及颂歌，是苏联最有成就的歌曲作家之一。
