[一、见道],谓声闻因断三界见惑,见真谛理,故名见道。即初果,须陀洹也。(三界者,欲界、色界、无色界也。见惑者,意根对法尘起诸分别,曰见惑。梵语须陀洹,华言预流。谓预入圣道法流也。)
[二、修道],谓声闻得初果已,复缘真谛之理,断欲界九品思惑,名为修道。即二果斯陀含、三果阿那含也。(思惑者,五根对五尘,起贪染心口思。九品者,于上中下三品,每一品中又分三品,名为九品。梵语斯陀含,华言一来;谓来欲界一番受生也。梵语阿那含,华言不来,谓不来欲界受生也。)
