t合会1亦称“邀会”、“来会”、“成会”。各地的称谓也不同。中国山东和江苏北部各地称“请会”、“聚会”或“集会”，安徽、江西、湖南称“打会”，湖北称“约会”，广东称“做会”，浙江称“纠会”，云南称“赊会”等。一种自发的民间信用互助形式。合会制度起源于唐宋年间，最早出现于安徽，称“新安会”。合会主要流行于江南及沿海地区。中华人民共和国建立后，由于信用集中于国家银行和农村信用合作社，合会制度基本上消失，取而代之的是职工互助会。随着改革开放和商品经济的发展，合会制度在部分地区特别是农村，又逐渐出现。 合会的基本做法是:首先由急需资金的人充当发起人(称“会首”或“会头”)，他们凭借个人的信用，请收人较为充裕而又有信用的人出面担保，邀集亲友、邻里、同事等数人乃至几十人(称“会脚”)组成一会，约定每人每次应缴会款和举会时间。第一次交纳的会款一般归会首，以后依不同方式，决定会脚收款次序。按预先排定次序轮收的，称为“轮会”;按摇股方式确定的称为“摇会”;用投标竞争办法决定的称为“标会”。己得一次会款者，不再参加摇散子排顺序，只交会款。当每位会员都得到一次会款后，该会即结束，或重新组合。
