| 吴敬梓(1701～1754) 中国清代小说家。字敏轩，一字粒民，晚年自号文木老人。安徽全椒人。出身于科甲鼎盛的缙绅世家。从小被过继给做官的伯父。23岁时伯父去世，近房中为争遗产，大动干戈。这件事使他看清了封建伦理道德的丑恶实质和那些道貌岸然的缙绅人物的虚伪面目。吴敬梓不善生计，又慷慨好施，不到30岁就田庐尽卖。33岁时移居南京，不愿再走仕途，甘愿过素食布衣的穷困生活，54岁时贫病而死。吴敬梓一生写了很多诗、词、文、赋。最有成就的就是《儒林外史》。小说着重写了明朝封建士大夫的生活和心态，对科举制度造成人们心灵扭曲给予无情揭露和抨击，同时对善良的人物深表同情，表现了作者爱憎分明的处世态度。可以说《儒林外史》是当时社会的真实写照。今存《文木山房集》4卷。 |
