谓毗卢遮那如来,现法界无尽身云,遍一切处,与十方佛,互为主伴,称性圆融,而说此经,令诸菩萨一切大众,及未来世法界众生,皆悉得闻,信解悟入,生如来家;乃至深入毗卢性海,若人闻是经得无量无边利益,今束为十,故云闻经十益也。(梵语毗卢遮那,华言遍一切处。)
[一、见闻益],见闻益者,谓见闻如来,常说遍说,此之大经,佛佛道同,法应如是,令诸众生入佛境界,成见闻益。(常说者,过去、现在、穷未来际,恒说此法也;遍说者,十方无尽世界,皆说此法也。)
[二、发心益],谓闻如来说本因中大愿大行,誓度众生,是以遂发信心,学佛行愿,成发心益。
[三、造修益],谓闻如来说此大经,发起当机智慧善业,令诸众生如法进修,成造修益。
[四、顿得益],谓闻如来初成正觉,即说此经,为根本法轮,义理玄妙,具含众德,令诸众生即能开悟,成顿得益。
[五、灭障益],谓闻如来说此大经,广明依正二果,胜德庄严,是以信乐修行,灭烦恼障,成灭障益。(依正二果者,一依果,谓华藏庄严世界;二正果,谓如来十身也。)
[六、摄位益],谓闻此经显说圆融地位,即一位之中,具摄诸位功德,期心证入,成摄位益。
[七、起行益],谓闻此经广说圆融妙行,即一行顿成诸行,是以起深信解,发意修行,成起行益。
[八、称性益],谓闻说此经称性极谈真实之法,决须解了,依性起修,成称性益。
[九、转利益],谓闻此经说一切众生皆具如来智慧,乃展转与人演说,皆得饶益,成转利益。
[十、速证益],谓总具前诸法门,故广修众德,则能速出生死,顿证菩提,成速证益。(梵语菩提,华言道。)
