| 永嘉之乱 中国西晋时期的政治动乱。晋惠帝在位期间，政治腐败，八王战乱相继 。永兴元年（304），匈奴贵族刘渊乘机在左国城（今山西离石）起兵，逐步控制并州大部分土地，称汉王。光熙元年（306），晋惠帝死，皇太弟司马炽嗣位，改元永嘉。刘渊遣石勒等大举南侵，屡破晋军，招纳人马，势力强大。永嘉二年，刘渊正式称帝。四年刘渊死，子刘聪继位。次年，刘聪遣石勒、刘曜、王弥等率军攻晋，在苦县宁平城（今河南鹿邑西南）歼灭晋军10余万人，杀太尉王衍及诸王公。旋攻入京师洛阳，俘获怀帝，纵兵烧掠，杀王公士民3万余人。 |
