In combination of related historical materials and on the basis transliteration and translation, this paper analyses the sources of the Mongolian names in the Biography so as to show the characteristics of Mongolian names and the historical situation at that time.

Mongolian names contain strong connotation of national culture, which is the retraction of Mongolian traditional culture, and which contains the cream of the traditional culture of the Mongolian nationality; and which reflects ancient civilization as well as modern civilization of the Mongolian nationality; meanwhile, which is part of Chinese name culture.
