【三品四善根】
 (名数)声闻,独觉,佛三乘之善根也。此中声闻与部行独觉之二者,转于暖,顶,二善根已生之位,而得无上正觉也。彼若得忍,则无成佛之理,何则,彼已超脱恶趣故不能为利物化生往于恶趣也。暖顶忍之三者,转得为独觉,以彼不须利生之化用故也。其次麟角独觉与佛,于暖等四善,无移转之理,盖以彼由暖等善根乃至成菩提,而成一座故也。俱舍二十三曰:“转声闻种性,二成佛三余。麟角佛无转,一坐成觉故。”
