投篮意识(sense of shooting basket)篮球运动员在训练或竞赛中合理运用技战术、不失时机地投篮的自觉、主动的心理活动。其作用在于使运动员从心理和行动上能选择最佳投篮时机和方式，确保最高的命中率。其特点是:(1)目的性。明确认识要想获胜必抓住更多投篮机会果断投篮。(2)机敏性。在对方严密防守、激烈对抗中，正确判断形势，巧妙运用技战术，注意配合、掩护、策应，设法突破，躲过堵截、捕捉或创造投篮机会。(3)果断性。投篮时情绪积极稳定、高度自信、坚决果断。(4)准确性。在瞬息万变、对抗激烈的形势下能自如控制，使投篮动作简练、快速、准确。(5)适宜性。明确认识整体战术需要，不盲目投篮。 (刘淑慈撰马启伟审)
