| 杠铃 bar bell 举重运动中最基本的器材。最初的杠铃是由金属横杠两端各装一个金属球而成，不能增减重量。后发展成横杠两端各装一空心圆球，加重时可向球内加铁砂或铅砂。举重时，由于金属空心球壳和填充物会发出声响，所以将其称为杠铃。1910年，德国人卡斯佩尔·贝格用一组轻重不等的铁片代替了金属球，称为片杠铃，又名贝格杠铃。后来经进一步改进，制成了由横杠、杠铃片、卡箍3部分组成的标准杠铃。在正式比赛中使用的横杠长度为2200毫米，直径28毫米，重量20千克。两个内卡箍的距离为1310毫米。横杠两端的活动卡箍每个重2.5千克。所有杠铃片都应标明重量，杠铃片的重量和颜色分别为25千克红色，20千克蓝色，15千克黄色，10千克绿色，5千克白色，2.5千克黑色，其他还有1.25千克，0.5千克，0.25千克的小片。除标准杠铃外，在一般练习中都采用普通杠铃，其结构与标准杠铃相同，只是横杠两端无套管。 |
