宋杨至质撰。至质字休文，号勿斋，阁皂山道士。淳祐中敕赐高士、右街鉴仪，主管教门公事。是集皆四六书启，多与一时当事酬答之作。其《兼领旌德观都监谢京尹赵节斋启》云：“观以道名，境随人重。知章有学，始专鉴曲之烟霞。清老能诗，故奉金陵之香火。倘酒瓮饭囊之辈，徒斋钟粥鼓之羞”云云。盖亦以文学自，不屑等於黄冠者流。第二卷中大抵代人之作。当由闲於词翰，故士大夫假手者多也。宋末启札之文，多喜配合经史成语，凑泊生硬，又喜参文句，往往冗长萎弱，唐以前旧格荡然。至质所作，虽边幅少狭，而对属工緻，吐属雅洁，犹有樊南《甲乙集》之遗，正未可以方外轻之矣。
