The coastal marsh provided the fuel for decocting salt,supplied convenient sea water,hence a close relationship between the salt yield and the availability of marshes.

Using geotemperature and weather data by continued 4 years observation after the chinese Great Wall Station was built,the authors studied the geotemperature oscillation characteristics at different depth and time scale in active layer on the Antarctic Fildes Peninsula by analyses of time succession linear and compromise relation.
