| 通缉 order the arrest of a criminal at large 警察机关通报各地协助缉捕在逃人犯归案的一种侦查措施。《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》规定，应当逮捕的被告人如果在逃，公安机关可以发布通缉令，采取有效措施追捕归案。各级公安机关在自己管辖的地区内，可以直接发布通缉令；超出管辖地区的，应报请有权决定的上级机关发布。通缉令中应写明被通缉人的姓名、性别、年龄、籍贯、衣着和体貌特征，并附有其近期照片。在不影响侦查的情况下，可写明发案时间、地点和简要案情。通缉令可以公开张贴。任何机关、企事业单位和公民，都有义务协助抓捕。被通缉人归案后，发布通缉令的公安机关应及时通告撤销通缉令。 |
